SNSD made their comeback to Inkigayo with ‘Run Devil Run’ (RDR). Clad in the black outfits they wore in RDR MV, the girls were the last to perform, just before the Mutizen Song result announcement. The girls were not in their best condition and at times look rather uncomfortable. Probably they are still feeling tired after the filming of a CF at Jeju Island. Looks like their hectic schedules are affecting them again. Take care, Soshi! Anyway, this week’s Mutizen Song Award went to T-ara’s ‘Crazy Because of You’.
Naturally, when a person hears the word ‘black’, he/she would naturally relate to something visible. Well, this is not the case with Black Soshi. Although we’ve seen SNSD in black outfits, black nail polish, black heels, etc in ‘Run Devil Run’ MV, the Black Soshi concept is actually color-independent. As explained by Taeyeon, SNSD are not trying to portray the concept of Black Soshi with their black outfit but rather, it’s the image and aura that they are trying to portray. Thus, the color of the outfit is really insignificant as far as the concept is concern. For their Music Bank performance on the 19th or March, the girls dressed in all white. In fact, the white outfits are also featured in their MV. Does this mean, we may be seeing other colors as well for ‘Run Devil Run’ performances? I’m sure it’ll be interesting to see them in different colors for RDR.
After the cover of the repackaged 2nd album was released, there has been a lot of comments and speculation about the tall, sexy girl with long hair in tight black outfit on the cover. Some netizens thought that the girl is a combination of SNSD members. Great imagination though. However there are some who got it right. The girl on the cover is none other than YoonA with her sexy and matured new look, as confirmed by SM Entertainment. I guess the reason they put her on the cover is because among all the Soshi members, YoonA’s transformation from her cute and innocent style to the sexy and matured Black Soshi is the most obvious.
SNSD had their first ‘Run Devil Run’ performance on MBC Show! Music Core today in all black. Today’s performance was better than their performance On Music Bank yesterday. Better condition, looks more confident and more energetic (especially Sunny with that awesome high kick). The cameraman did better as well. If you watched their performance yesterday, you’ll know what I mean. On Music Bank yesterday, the cameraman only focused on the upper half of the body during the running part which kinda pissed me off.
SNSD appeared in white today and performed ‘Run Devil Run’ for the first time on Music Bank. ‘Oh!’ has dropped to 4th place. There was a bit of confusion on this week’s K-Chart winner when the result screen clearly showed T-ara won but the MCs announced Kara as the winner. Well, the MC got it right as Kara is the actual winner.
SNSD’s member Sooyoung has caught the viewers’ eyes by becoming a “One day G7″ for ‘Invincible Youth’.
In the next episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Invincible Youth’ which will be aired on March 19, Sooyoung has substituted for Yuri, who was diagnosed with H1N1 at the time of filming. Sooyoung has survived the intense welcoming and managed to present big laughs with her unique wit and humor.
In this episode, Sooyoung will show “aegyo that calls for a wooden stick” that will be almost as equal to Sunny’s “aegyo that calls for a punch”.
Sooyoung will especially get the love and attention of ‘Village Chief’ Noh Joohyun and ‘Bear Taewoo’ Kim Taewoo, making the rest of G7 members jealous.
Also, Sooyoung will wear a tearful face while experiencing the ‘Invincible Youth’ style country life, like getting trapped in the chicken coop while moving the chickens for building repair.
However, as she gets used to the lifestyle, she will catch the chickens without hesitation, eventually making a strong appearance as the “One day G7″.
I can’t wait to see Sooyoung dealing with the chicken and stuff…hehe. Hope more Soshi will go to the show in the future.
SM Entertainment has released individual photos of the Black Soshi on their official website. Click on the thumbnails to bring up the lightbox and see if you guessed correctly whom those bodies belong to.
The much anticipated ‘Run Devil Run’ Music Video is out, baby!!! Here it is. Enjoy!
The title is neither ‘Run’ nor ‘Devil’ but a combination of the two…lol…I got fooled.
After the release of its MV teaser on the 16th and Mp3 on the 17th, SNSD will unleash ‘Run Devil Run’ on Music Bank on the 19th. Fanscan finally witness the display of Lisette Bustamante’s masterpiece by the nine sexy, fierce and stunning Black Soshi on stage.
Composed by Busbee(US), Alex James (UK), Kalle Engstrom (Sweden) and a few other composers from around the world, ‘Run Devil Run’ is not only catchy but also injects a whole new feeling of freshness to the girls’ concept. The song was recorded by Kesha as a guide song (demo song) back in 2008 before her debut and therefore, Kesha does not have any rights on the song . Thus, SNSD’s ‘Run Devil Run’ is the first official release of the song and SM has legal rights on it. So, there’s no plagiarism issue here. So, please don’t keep bringing up this issue because it’s ‘no fun no manners’…lol
The full MV of ‘Run Devil Run’ will be released on the 18th of March at 12.00am (KST). Sones and Kpop lovers can expect some very energetic, powerful and sexy dance moves to match the mood of the title track. Netizens will probably be interested in the outfits as well. I am wondering how many different outfits they have for their on stage performance.
This is definitely a chart-topping track and I will not be surprised if it does better than ‘Oh!’. It’s gonna be daebak for sure.
About 13 hours ago, after the Black Soshi MV teaser was released, netizens started to guess the title of the mysterious follow-up song. At the end of the MV, there is a voice saying ‘run….run…run’ and netizens thought that the title might be ‘Run’. It seems rather possible until a few hours later when something came up on SBS Inkigayo’s website as shown below:
So, is this the title track? We can’t be 100% sure but it does carry a high possibility. It was taken out moments later from the list though but I guess it was too late…lol.

….but the drama did not end there. A few minutes ago, Lisette Bustamante tweeted something about the ‘Run’ MV and she actually mentioned ‘Run’. Since netizens assumed the title track to be ‘Run’, perhaps she was just trying to go with the flow and it may not be ‘Run’ after all, knowing that SM wants to keep it as a secret for now.
There are two possibilities now:
1. As mentioned, Lisette maybe referring to ‘Devil’ when she mentioned about ‘Run’ because she might be aware of the confidentiality of the title track.
2. ‘Run’ and ‘Devil’ are both in the repackaged album. One of them is the title track.
Lisette’s tweet cancelled the second possibility and according to her tweet, she has no idea of the exact title. So, most probably ‘Devil’ is the title track.
