[RUMOR] Korean Pop Night Concert 2010 – Where?
August 28, 2010As mentioned in the title, this is just a rumor I heard. The Korean Pop Night Concert 2010 on October 23rd, 2010 organized by Proof Label will be held at the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Center.
So, what does that tell you? The no. seats are most probably VERY limited, maybe in the region of 5000 to 8000 seats at most. So, since there will be limited seats, you can expect the tickets would not be cheap as well. If you have no idea where the EXPO is, click HERE!
However this is just a rumor. Do take it with a pinch of salt!
Fan account @ SNSD’s Mezamashi Mini Live Show
August 28, 2010Again, it was a mini show but as usual, SNSD’s shows are always as big as concerts. We are lucky to have SONEs sharing their experience at those shows. Here’s the fan account by winkme.
Hello Sones! I went at Odaiba with my friend after my work just to see the girls performing LIVE yesterday!!! ♥ I arrived at 1:00 p.m and got my number ticket (no.933 & no.934). We thought we couldn’t get our number tickets because we know the girls are so popular and we thought the tickets will be sold out but luckily we got it and had the chance to see them free!!! The staffs explain to us that we should line up around 3:45 p.m. Since we arrived very early, we walk around Odaiba and went to the amusement park (JOY POLIS) lol.
After we came back, I heard SNSD saying “Konnichiwa, watashi tachi wa Shoujyo Jidai desu! , yoroshiku onegaishimasu!’ I was so exited when I heard their voice!!! I think they are rehearsing (: but we couldn’t see them because the stage is covered. During 3:00 p.m the fans and non-fans are lining-up already! The girls are so popular!!! Non-Fans also lined up and waited just to know who is Shoujyo Jidai are! Hmm, If I remember there were 2,000+ people lined up! It’s too crowded, sweating like crazy coz it’s too HOT XD
When we are lining-up, the fans who got to go inside first started to practice GENIE, GEE, RDR, & OH’s fanchants! they brought their pink penlights, SNSD goods like uchiwa too~ The mezamashi reporter was reporting the fans (: I thought were very far from the stage but we’re near the stage! I think it’s just 6 meters from the stage XDD
They sang GENIE & GEE ( Both in Korean Version) then they introduced themselves one by one! I LOVE THEIR OUTFITS!!!! I think its my favorite outfits <333 after GENIE, they told us that they are going to sing one more song, GEE. After GEE, they say goodbye to us but Fans are wishing for encore! But SNSD didn’t appeared cause the show is over XD they just show to us the JP Version of GENIE MV. The staffs told us no picture taking/no video recording and no sound recording BUT I took some pictures…Forgive me for my crappy pictures >.< I was scared my camera will confiscate so Its so sneaky *__* The girls are so pretty in person!!! so slim XD maknae seohyun is sooooo pretty *___*well all of them are so pretty!
By the way, “Konnichiwa, watashi tachi wa Shoujyo Jidai desu! , yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” simply means “Hello, we are Girls’ Generation! Nice to meet you!”. Also, the photos shared are awesome.
@winkme Your photos are not crappy. They’re awesome!

SNSD’s fan-meeting session in Malaysia
August 27, 2010A proposal was sent to SM Entertainment by Malaysian organizer, Redstar Presents to invite SNSD for a fan- meeting session in Malaysia. The demand for SNSD to have a concert or fan meeting (at least) in Malaysia is so great that SONEs are endlessly urging the organizer to bring the Soshi over to the country for the first time.
In reply to SONEs’ queries, here’s what the organizer has to say about the fan meeting (FM). Redstar is asking for patience from SONEs but it’s understandable that when it is taking too long, fans do get impatient, especially when they’re hearing news about SONEs watching concerts and shows elsewhere. The usual question popping inside their heads would be “When will the girls come over?”.
Looks like SM Entertainment is having a little bit of problem to slot in the FM session in Malaysia into SNSD’s schedule. The girls are currently busy with their Japanese promotion. They will have a mini live show today in Tokyo and after that they will be flying back to Korea for Y-Star Concert on August 28th and 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave on August 29th.
Hopefully, the fan-meeting session in Malaysia would be a reality as Malaysian SONEs have been longing to see and greet the girls. A concert would be even more awesome as we would be seeing the mighty pink ocean for the first time in Malaysia.

SNSD set to rock Mezamashi Mini Live Show today!
August 27, 2010As all of you might have heard, there was a quick decision made to have the girls performed at Mezamashi Mini Live Show in Gasshuukoku Fantastic Stadium.
The girls will arrive at the venue at around 4.30pm (Tokyo time) and the show starts at 5.00pm. It will be a 15-minute show but OMG…look at the crowd! There is still a little less than 8 hours to go but SONEs are already lining up.
Not sure if cams are allowed though…hehe..but I know our beloved SONEs there would definitely snap some nice photos for us. I certainly hope to see the might pink ocean again!

Yongseo couple to perform at Korean Music Wave
August 26, 2010From being members of their own respective groups, Seohyun and Yonghwa became a ‘couple’ and ‘got married’ on MBC’s “We Got Married Season 2″. Who could have thought that the ‘couple’ would form a band!
According to MBC on August 26th, the gogoma couple will have a special stage performance at the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave on August 29th.
It will surely be the highlight of the show and surely SONEs and BOICEs would be eagerly waiting for their appearance at Incheon. This year’s Korean Music Wave boasts big names such as SNSD, Super Junior, BoA, Big Bang, After School, BEAST, MBLAQ, CN Blue, etc.

This is why the Soshi Bond is FTW
August 26, 2010The girls went on a 10-day holiday. Some went home, some went to tour Europe, US, etc but that strong, special bond between the Soshi got to them while they were away from each other. This is the special bond that you probably don’t get to see with other groups. The Soshi sisters told their stories to Cosmopolitan Magazine lately and here’s some portions of the interview, thanks to taengbear from Soshified.com for the translation!
Q: I heard recently you guys took a break for about 20 days for the first time since your debut. How did you guys spend your first long break?
Yoona: I went to Paris and Rome for a family vacation. But I was so surprised because everywhere I went, there were a lot of fans. There are pictures of me that were captured and posted online, and there were so many fans that I even remember who took those pictures at each place.
Yuri: It was exam time for me, so I went to school and took my exams. I wanted to study a bit during this vacation time. I wanted to invest in myself during the time that was given to me so I practiced, exercised, read books, and studied. It was really great because I really wanted to do these things. I guess I can say I wanted to fill myself up when I had the time.
Sooyoung: That’s what she’s like. She was going to play but ended up studying. Hahaha.
Sunny: I went to Las Vegas, but I was so busy watching performances. Even just thinking about it now, “Ka” and “O” (Cirque du Soleil) were so amazing that I still miss it.
Hyoyeon: I find going out to places very annoying so I just spent time with my family. I didn’t do anything and didn’t go out anywhere. I just ate, slept, watched TV, and just rested!
Taeyeon: I went home, but the funny thing was that just because I was away from the members for a few days, I missed them so much.
Tiffany: That’s right. I’ve been with Taeyeon for 6 years, and this was the first time we’ve been apart for so long. After 10 days, we made a big fuss because we missed each other and sent each other text messages and pictures.
Sooyoung: Yeah. I thought we wouldn’t miss each other during this break, but after only a few days, each of us made a fuss because we all missed each other. Hahaha. I went to the States and while I was there, I missed the kids so much. It was weird because even when i was eating good food, I thought of the members. I guses we’ve really become a family.
I guess they just couldn’t be too far or too long away from one another. That’s why the Soshi Bond is FTW!
