The much anticipated MV of SNSD’s 3rd mini album title track “Hut” will be revealed on October 28th.

The MV which will be released via SM Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, was filmed at Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. In the MV, SNSD members highlight their fashionable and lovely charms. In addition to that, the MV which involved participation by film director, Jang Jaehyuk also features special appearance by Super Junior’s Choi Siwon.

SM Entertainment’s representative said, “The teaser MV was released on October 24th and after only 2 days, there was a hot response for the teaser where it received more than 1 million views. With the popularity of the song, the music video is expected to receive an explosive response from fans”.

Recently, SNSD who released their 2nd Japanese Single “Gee” appeared on a Japasese TV show where the performed “Gee” on that particular program. The video was uploaded to the Internet and have caught the attention of Korean netizens and the main focus seemed to be on Taeyeon’s bob hairstyle.

The pre-order for SNSD’s 3rd mini album “Hoot” had surpassed 150,000 copies.

The mini album which will be released today, October 27th saw pre-order of 51,000 copies were made online while 99,490 copies were pre-ordered on offline stores. In total, the mini album recorded a total of 150,490 pre-ordered copies, an indication of the girls’ massive popularity.

The girls are set to make their comeback on the following music shows:

- KBS 2TV “Music Bank” on October 29th

The teaser MV for “Hoot” was viewed more than a million times ever since its release at midnight on October 24th. A million views is not something uncommon in You Tube but achieving such number of views in just two days is definitely a phenominal record.

The huge number of views is a very clear indication that the girls are becoming a worldwide sensation and the 3rd mini album is expected to make a big wave both domestically and internationally.

SNSD are not new in breaking records and they will keep breaking records with every album release. Such is the popularity of Korea’s top girl group. These record breaking feats would definitely place SNSD highly in music history as well as in the minds of many music lovers.

SNSD have enjoyed great success with “Gee” in Korea and since the release of the Japanese version, the addictive song is beginning to shake the Japanese archipelago. The fact that it took 30 years for another girl group to be placed within the TOP3, is a very strong testimony in itself that SNSD are the legends of the era.
