On April 24th, SNSD performed ‘Hoot’ on ‘SBS Inkigayo – Wonderful Jeju Super Concert’ at the Halla Gymnasium, Jeju Island.
Clad in all white, the girls were one of the main attractions at the concert. As usual, they pulled off an impressive performance in front of the audience. The atmosphere was further heated up when the girls performed their popular “arrow dance”.

On April 23rd, Samsung invited SNSD for a fanmeeting event and also the premiere of their new IT products in Beijing’s CGV Star International Movie City situated next to the Bird’s Nest Stadium.
At the venue, Samsung showcased their new 3D TV as well as Premium Laptop Series 9 and other various IT products. Besides that, visitors/fans had the opportunity to watch SNSD’s live performances of ‘Hoot’, ‘Oh!’ and ‘Gee’, tried out Samsung’s new products, took part in lucky draws and had photo sessions with SNSD.
During the event, the girls also answered questions about the Samsung products they are using and places they wanted to go in Beijing. In reply to the MC’s question Yuri said that she is using a Samsung printer. Tiffany on the other hand, revealed that she is using a pink laptop, which triggered loud cheers from the fans. About the place that they wanted to go, the girls mentioned the ‘Great Walls of China’.
A representative of Samsung revealed, “Last year, SNSD endorsed Samsung in China and received many good responses. We believe they would largely contribute to the growth of Samsung’s market in China”.

Photos of Seohyun at Dongguk University was recently taken.
Through a portal site board on April 23rd, a netizen posted two photos of Seohyun taken at a coffee shop in Dongguk University. Nothing fancy about her attire as she was seen in an ordinary black shirt and blue jeans.
Seohyun was surrounded by crowds who ‘discovered’ her in that area. In one of the pictures, Seohyun was standing at the checkout counter with her back facing the camera while a person standing not too far away took a photo using his/her mobile phone.
Netizens who saw the photos commented, “She’s pretty although the pictures were randomly taken”, “I’m jealous of the students there”, etc.
Upon the opening his own restaurant, HaHa received congratulatory flowers from his close friends.
On April 22nd, he opened a grilled pork intestines restaurant near HongIk University (commonly known as ‘Hongdae’).
Being involved in a restaurant for the first time, he acted like a part-time worker, grilling and serving food to each table, as well as greeting and chatting with his customers. He successfully created a bright atmosphere as a CEO.
HaHa told the reporters that he thinks his restaurant would be a great success considering the long line of customers until the early hours of the following day (April 23rd).
The shop also garnered attention because HaHa’s close friends, including ‘Running Man’ members as well as those of ‘Infinity Challenge’ who sent him congratulatory flowers.
Among the congratulatory flowers, YoonA’s was one of those which stood out. Her message to HaHa – ‘Let’s go to an uninhabited island together if your shop is successful‘.
Kim TaeHo PD showed his friendship with HaHa and left him a message, “I didn’t know how big 3 billion Won was. HaHa, get rich!”
Meanwhile, singer Kim JongGook’s message was simple – ‘Get rich, my brother’. On the other hand, Jung HyungDon amused the customers with his message, “HaHa, you should talk like me.”
HaHa’s manager revealed, “Many friends helped out and congratulated us in the first opening day. Customers were happy when they saw the flowers and the messages.”

On April 22nd, f(x) made their comeback performance on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ with ‘Pinocchio’. Since this was f(x)’s very first comeback performance, Jessica went directly to the waiting room to cheer for her little sister, Krystal.
According to a representative, “Jessica came to look for Krystal directly to show support for f(x)’s comeback. She watched and cheered for her sister and the rest of the f(x) members from the waiting room during the recording of the performance”. Her action tells a thousand words and the bond between the Jung sisters is undeniable.
Japan’s Mezamashi TV gave its viewers a sneak peek of the PV for ‘Mr.Taxi’. From the portions of the PV revealed through the Japanese TV show, the girls were seen in taxi driver caps and sexy yellow outfits, where the short skirts and pants matched their slim bodies well.
Along with their sexy ‘Yellow Soshi’ look, the dance choreography seemed to have also acquired a name. In the past, the girls were known for their ‘Crab dance’ (Gee), ‘Arrow Dance’ (Hoot), etc. The dance featured in ‘Mr. taxi”s PV is called the ‘Steering Wheel Dance’ as the girls’ choreography includes the ‘turning the steering wheel’ action, especially at the chorus of the PV.

On April 21st, Yuri and Sooyoung attended a party to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the opening of fashion brand, Tory Burch’s flagship store at Cheongdamdong, Seoul.
Besides Yuri and Sooyoung, the event which started at 6pm KST was also attended by Yoo InNa, Kim SaRang, Miss A, etc.

On cable TV channel tvN’s ‘Live Talk Show – Taxi’ which will be aired on April 21st, Seo Jisuk said, “My ideal type is FinKL’s Song Yuri. My condition was called ‘Song Yuri Sickness’ because whenever I see Song Yuri, my leg would freeze for 30 minutes”.
Following Seo Jisuk’s statement, they commented, “Then, what how about SNSD’s member Jessica?”. On MBC TV’s ‘Sunday Night Part 1 – Enjoy Today’ aired in December last year, Seo Jisuk picked Jessica as his favorite member of SNSD. There were a few incidents that brought up the ‘dating atmosphere’ between Jessica and Seo Jisuk during the broadcast then.
In addition to that, both of them had also revealed their ideal type on SBS ‘Strong Heart’. Seo Jisuk confessed that he has a crush on Jessica ever since he was in the army by saying, “The moment I look at Jessica’s lips, there is no word i could use to express my emotions”. Japanese dance group, Endo Jidai’s impressive cover of SNSD’s dance garnered much attention from netizens.
Endo Jidai, a 9-member dance group consisting of men and women, are already well-known among Japanese fans of SNSD. The name of the group was given as such because Endo Jidai performs SNSD’s dances only.
The stage names for Endo Jidai members are actually close to those of SNSD’s members. For example, Ressica (Jessica), Endo YoonA (YoonA), Sachiffany (Tiffany), etc. Videos of their performances which where uploaded on YouTube have received high number of views. From dance steps to costumes, their covers for SNSD’s ‘Gee’, ‘Visual Dreams’ and ‘Hoot’ are all very impressive.
In January this year, Endo Jidai showcased their amazing skills and enthusiasism at the ‘Kpop Dance Cover’ event in Shibuya, Japan. This well-known dance group communicates with their fans through their official Twitter and YouTube channel.
