Jessica is back once again to grace the ‘Legally Blonde’ musical!
In 2009, Jessica took up the challenge as a musical actress for the first time when she was selected for the role of ‘Elle Woods’ in the ‘Legally Blonde’ musical. Jessica received praises for her impressive singing skill as well as her ability to embrace the character well on stage. This time around, Jessica is expected to present a more lovely-looking and aegyo-filled Elle Woods.
This upcoming musical promises to be even more exciting than the musical showcased in 2009 and 2010 entitled ‘금발이 너무해’ and it will be using the official name ‘Legally Blonde’ after being granted the Broadway License in order to firmly position itself in the musical industry.
Along with Jessica, A Pink’s Jung EunJi and Choi WooRi will be sharing the role of Elle Woods. Taeyeon was picked as the most young-looking ‘Unnie-dol’.
Community portal site ‘dcinside.com’ conducted a survey from September 18th to 25th to determine the big sister in girl groups who looks younger than the maknae (youngest member of a group).
Out of a total of 3,337 votes, 2,483 votes (74.4%) went to Taeyeon who topped the survey. In Girls’ Generation, it is known that Taeyeon has a small stature, cute-looking appearance and expressions as well as irresistable aegyo so she seems to give an impression that she is younger than the maknae of the group, Seohyun.
A Pink’s Park ChoRong came in 2nd with 204 votes (6.1%), followed by T-ara’s Boram in 3rd by garnering 104 votes (3.1%). Secret’s HyoSung, f(x)’s Victoria and Rainbow’s Go WooRi were placed 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.

On September 24th, TVXQ’s 6th album ‘Catch Me’ was revealed and in the fourth track of the album entitled ‘Like A Soap’, a female voice that says, “안녕 잘자 (Goodbye, goodnight)” was inserted into the song. The feminine and cute voice that sparked much curiosity among listeners belongs to none other than Girls’ Generation’s black pearl, Yuri.
TVXQ’s representatives told Newsen, “Although it was just a short line, Yuri’s voice goes well with that portion of the song and thus, it was being inserted. As originally it was only melody, Max Changmin proposed to have a female voice for the narration. That’s how we had the idea. Composers and staff gathered to find the suitable voice for the part and in the end, Yuri was selected.”
Meanwhile, TVXQ will be making their comeback with title song ‘Catch Me’ on KBS Music Bank on October 5th.
