Girls’ Generation celebrates 6th Music Bank K-Chart win for ‘The Boys’!

Other than the usual TGIF celebrations, we have another reason to celebrate today! Girls’ Generation had just achieved the remarkable feat of getting their sixth consecutive win on KBS Music Bank’s K-Chart for ‘The Boys’!

The 6th K-Chart win is remarkable because with this win today, Girls’ Generation became the artist with the most K-Chart wins in 2011 to date. Similar to last week’s Music Bank, the top spot was down to Girls’ Generation and Wonder Girls, and Girls’ Generation was victorious with a total points of 13,234, compared to Wonder Girls’ 10,038 points.

Meanwhile, a ‘Mr. Taxi’ version of Girls’ Generation’s third album ‘The Boys’ with the following jacket cover, will be released next week on December 8th and the girls are scheduled to continue their promotional activities until the end of December.
