2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave

On August 29th, some of the big names in Kpop industry will gather once again for the 2nd Incheon Korean Music Wave 2010. Other than SNSD, BoA and Se7en will also be making their appearances.

A representative from HH, the event management company for the music festival said that the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave will begin at 7pm KST at Incheon Munhak World Cup Stadium. The representative further said that Incheon will become the center for the Kpop music festivals in Asia and the city itself will be a hub for the development of the Asian music industry in the long run.

The 2010 Korean Music Wave features SNSD, Super Junior, 2pm, Son Dambi, U-Kiss, Beast, MBLAQ, After School, CN Blue, SHINee, SG Wannabe, BoA, Se7en, etc. The second bath of artists will be revealed by the middle of July. World domination is starting soon

Wonder Girls have announced that the launching of their First US Debut Album will take place on May 16th, 2010. The launch which will be streamed live through Ustream will be hosted by famous entertainment blogger, Perez Hilton. This means that fans worldwide will be able to witness the memorable event live from the comfort of their homes.

After the launching of the album, Wonder Girls will embark on a 20-city tour around the United States starting from June 4th, with fellow label mates, 2PM and 2AM opening for them at the concerts. The girls will be touring cities such as Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and many more.

Besides touring the US, Wonder Girls are having promotional events in Korea, China and other countries as well. The girls will be in Taipei from April 21st to April 24th to personally thank their fans for making the ‘Taiwan Special Edition’ album a best seller in the country as well as topping charts like G-Music, Five Music and etc. After their trip to Taipei, Wonder Girls will be in Los Angeles to attend the 8th Korean Music Festival on May 1st and are expected to be back in Korea for their comeback stages on their home soil in May as well, probably after the launching of the album on May 16th.

Since Wonder Girls are promoting their albums worldwide, we hope that the girls would be getting sufficient rest despite the upcoming busy schedules. We are sensing world domination here and we hope it will turn out as planned, if not better for the girls. Wonder Girls fighting!!!!

Maknae took Sarang Bi (Love Rain) to a whole new level. She’s just awesome and her voice blended with Tae Woo’s powerful voice so well. They should seriously produce some songs together. I love it!!

I thought JYP’s Billie Jean cover was much better than SuJu’s (Sorry, E.L.S). That guy has so much talent in everything. Finally, my wish of watching JYP performing MJ’s dance moves came true. I remember mentioning about it yesterday that I hope to see him performing MJ. Wow, he must have heard me.

So, this is the special performance we’ve been waiting for – Taec and YoonA dating on stage. I like the Night Fever performance at the end. Nichkhun and Yuri were cute together. I just hope those fangirls of 2PM understand that this is just a performance.

The white team – a showcase of 3 beauties from 3 girl groups in wedding dresses. So, who wore it best? You be the judge. If you asked me, I’ll say Ga In.

The black team – Yuri, HyunA and Gahee burned down the stage with sizzling hot sexy dance. Ouchh!!! They had my eyes on fire!! Lol…

2PM and JYP – Heartbeat, Again and Again and Dance Battle. I just love the intro. Don’t get me wrong…I didn’t scream like the fans did (underwater scene). Seriously, those who are afraid of heights and water, don’t watch. By the way, the Matrix stage effect for Again & Again was really cool. JYP loved that song. Seriously, he should consider including a solo version of the song in his next album.

Our girls! Our angels! The wings look kinda scary behind the screen. The slow-mo part reminds me of a beer commercial (I couldn’t remember which one).

Relax…it’s just a performance and Taec’s fangirls really need to relax. The word fangirls reminds me of the case where Taec received ………from a fangirl a while ago. That image still haunts me until today. Ok…enough about that. Taec and YoonA will be dating performing together on stage at 2009 MBC Gayo Daejun. Awww…how sweet. I honestly think they make a good couple. They’ll look so good with each other although some think that Nichkhun and YoonA look cuter together. I guess everyone’s subjected to their own opinions here. According to Newsen.com, the storyline behind the performance sounds like this:

While secretly conversing through the phone about their love, Yoona and Taecyeon eventually end up fighting through a misunderstanding and so Yoona begins to ignore Taecyeon’s calls. In an effort to calm Yoona down, the rest of the SNSD members secretly head out while their manager is away and end up meeting the 2PM members. Through the efforts of SNSD and 2PM, the relationship of Taecyeon and Yoona eventually gets fixed and they return to loving each other.
