SNSD will soon resume their Japanese activities.
SNSD will appear on Japan’s Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station’ which will be aired live on May 13th. On the show, SNSD will be performing ‘Mr.Taxi’ live for the very first time ever since the official release of the 3rd Japanese Single on April 27th.
The girls are set to ‘take on’ Japan again with their appearance on Music Station this time around. Seen by many as somehow affected by the massive earthquake on March 11th, the craze for SNSD in the Japanese music market is expected to be on the rise again.
Besides appearing on ‘Music Station’, SNSD are scheduled to kick off their Arena Tour in Osaka on May 31st. The concerts would be ongoing till July 17th where the girls will be touring Osaka, Tokyo, Saitama, Hiroshima, Nagoya and Fukuoka and perform in front of estimated audience of 100,000.
SNSD will be making their debut performance for Japanese version of ‘Run Devil Run‘ on Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station‘ on January 28th. Besides SNSD, Canadian female rock star, Avril Lavigne was also invited to the show where she will be performing her latest song, ‘What The Hell’.
To bring more excitement to the show, there has been a new addition to the list of performers. According to Japanese daily, Sankei Sports on January 24th, TVXQ will also be on ‘Music Station’, gracing the stage with their latest song ‘Why’. This is their first TV performance in Japan since TVXQ’s comeback.
Christmas gift arrived early for those lucky ones who attended Japan’s Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station Super Live’ earlier today as the 9 angels graced the stage with their forever-awesome performances of ‘Genie‘ and ‘Gee’.
Like many of you might have noticed, our girls have shown great improvement in the level of their Japanese language. Besides Sooyoung, Tiffany and Seohyun spoke really fluently on ‘Music Station’ today. Looks like Tiffany has been utilizing her 1-month break to the fullest. Being able to speak so fluently within a month is not an easy task and it only proves that our girls are indeed very linguistic. During the interview, the MC was also amazed with the fact that their Japanese have improved.
Here’s the translation for the interview involving the MCs, Sooyoung and Yuri:
Male MC: Your Japanese has gotten much better.
Sooyoung: We study very hard.
Female MC: That’s great.
Male Mc: What’s your goal for next year?
Yuri: Next year I want to become better in Japanese. We want to challenge Japanese people ( she made a cute mistake in her Japanese.)
Sooyoung: We want to try to do a national tour in Japan.

After taking a break for over a month due to her knee injury, Tiffany will be joining the girls in their activities again in a few days time.
Tiffany will be making her first appearance ever since her injury with the rest of the SNSD members on Fuji TV’s ‘Mezamashi TV’ (Japan) which will be aired Live on December 23rd.
On December 24th, SNSD and Japan’s top artists are scheduled to attend Asahi TV’s ‘Music Station Super Live’, a year-end special program of ‘Music Station’, where Tiffany is also expected to be on stage with the girls.
On Christmas Day, December 25th, Tiffany will be making her first comeback in Korea through MBC ‘Show! Music Core Year-End Special’ where the girls are expected to deliver a powerful stage performance with the presence of all nine members on stage.
The girls are in Japan again and they appeared on Asahi TV’s “Music Station” aired on November 26th. Performing “Genie” without Tiffany, the girls felt the ‘void’ on the stage and gave shout-outs to Fany who is currently recuperating in Korea due to her knee injury:
Sunny: We miss Tiffany today but we will try our best.
Taeyeon: We really miss Tiffany but eight of us will try our best on stage.
Sooyoung: We miss Tiffany today but I think we performed well.
The girls repeated three times “We miss Tiffany!” during Music Station.
Jessica did well in singing Fany’s lines. Instead of the usual “DJ, put it back on”, she awesomely changed it to “Music Station, put it back on” to suit the program.
Another point to ponder is Sunny’s hair. Following her recent appearances with short and wavy hair, netizens have been wondering if it was shortened for Japanese activities. Well, she appeared with long golden hair. Hmm…I’ve a bit of thinking to do. Let me know what you think! You can either post your opinions as comments or tweet me.
