SNSD and BoA to attend ‘Summer Sonic 2011′
July 1, 2011SNSD and BoA will be participating in a rock festival in Japan, the ‘Summer Sonic 2011′.
On June 30th, the line-up for the event which includes SNSD and BoA was published on Summer Sonic’s official website. BoA will be the first solo female singer from Korea to attend the prestigious festival.
‘Summer Sonic 2011′ will be held on August 13th and 14th in Tokyo and Osaka where there will be 2 performances for each venue. BoA is scheduled to perform on August 13th in Tokyo alongside Avril Lavigne, Japanese hip-hop group, Rip Slyme, Perfume, etc. SNSD on the other hand will be performing on August 14th in Tokyo as special guests.
Some of the big names who will be making their appearances on ‘Summer Sonic 2011′ are The Strokes, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Panic! At The Disco, Korn, X-Japan, etc.

Brazilian viewers love SM artistes
February 27, 2011On Brazil’s Rede TV aired on February 26th, the result of the survey entitled ‘If there’s Kpop artiste coming over to perform, who would it be?‘ was announced.
From the result, Super Junior, BoA, SNSD and SHINee took the top 4 spots, proving once again the domination of SM artistes. Super Junior garnered huge support from the Brazilian viewers with 30.9% while BoA came in 2nd with 27.47%. SNSD received 19.87% of the total votes and they were ranked 3rd in the survey.

BoA’s eldest brother is SNSD’s samchon fan
February 18, 2011BoA’s eldest brother, Pianist Kwon Soonhwon turns out to be SNSD’s samchon fan.
On SBS ‘One Night Tv Entertainment’ aired on February 17th, Kwon Soonhwon said, “Like other men in Korea Republic, I also love SNSD”.
Kwon Soonhwon once collaborated with her sister BoA where he played a beautiful piano version of the song ‘Don’t know what to say’. BoA’s second brother and Kwon Soonhwon’s younger brother is none other than Music Video Director, Kwon Soonwook. Proud of his brother’s achievements, Kwon Soonhwon said, “My brother won 1st place in various dance competitions”.
