The Jung sisters are showing off their loving and enviable sister bonds yet again!

On April 12th, f(x)’s Krystal uploaded an adorable photo of the young siblings at a beach on her Instagram (@kjungxox).

Krystal, who is currently filming variety show ‘Amazing f(x)’ in New Zealand, uploaded the photo with a caption that says “late national siblings day-love u jess”.

The Jung sisters have proven their loving relationship time and time again, showing their love and support for one another throughout the years.

Sunny and Luna’s duet ‘It’s Me’ for the ‘To The Beautiful You’ OST released!

Sunny and f(x)’s Luna’s duet ‘나야 (It’s Me)’ for the part 2 of the ‘To the Beautiful You’ OST was released at 12pm KST on August 22nd today. SHINee’s Onew also contributed his vocals for the OST with ‘In Your Eyes’.

‘나야 (It’s Me)’, a song about bittersweet one-sided love, features Sunny and Luna’s sweet but strong vocals to bring out the feelings faced by the female lead in the drama. The song can be previewed and purchased online from the following websites: MelOn, Soribada, Bugs and Mnet.

The new ongoing SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘To the Beautiful You (아름다운 그대에게)’ has been receiving a lot of attention for the cute and youthful romantic comedy storyline, which boasts a cast of idols for most leads roles including f(x)’s Sulli, SHINee’s Minho and Lee Hyunwoo. The story is based on a Japanese manga series ‘For You in Full Blossom’ (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e) by Hisaya Nakajo where Minho portrays the role of Kang Taejoon, a high jump gold medalist, who meets his fan Goo Jaehee (Sulli), who disguises a boy to stay in an all-male high school.

Meanwhile, the first part of the drama’s OST was released on August 15th, a week ago, featuring a duet ‘Butterfly’ by Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and her sister f(x)’s Krystal as well as J-Min’s (제이민) ‘Stand Up (일어나)’.

f(x)’s Amber showed her support for Girls’ Generation-TaeTiSeo.

On May 7th, through her personal me2day account, Amber posted, “Please give lots of love to Soshi Unnies’ unit, TaeTiSeo’s ‘Twinkle’! The first broadcast was really awesome!” Along with the post, Amber attached a photo of herself with Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun.

In the photo, Amber and the members of TaeTiSeo did the ‘Self-glowing Pose’ which is part of the choreography in the mini album’s title song ‘Twinkle’.

Fans who saw the photo commented, “All of them are cool”, “She really loves her unnies”, “f(x), please come back soon”, etc.

YoonA and Seohyun to shoot for French fashion brand ‘Carven’

On January 17th, a representative of fashion magazine ‘W Korea’ said, “Artists from SM Entertainment will be having a 2-day pictorial shoots from January 19th to 21st for French brand ‘Carven’ in a designated studio”.

The artists who will be participating in the shoots are YoonA and Seohyun, SHINee’s JongHyun and Taemin, f(x)’s Sulli and Krystal as well as SM’s upcoming new group, EXO. For this shoot which will be aired live on YouTube in real-time, the artists will be sporting the modern elegance concept.

A staff in charge of the pictorial shoot said, “The artists’ fresh and new look can be seen in real-time through a live channel, giving viewers a new experience as if they are together with us on the set”.

Angels showering their love upon African children

United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban KiMoon, SNSD, as well as other Hallyu stars will be joining hands and working together to help African children.

The Korean Red Cross Society and Korean UNICEF committee will be launching the ‘Help African Children’ project at Seoul Plaza Hotel on August 12th.

According to Korean Red Cross Society on August 9th, the event will involve participation from UN Secretary-General Ban KiMoon, SNSD, f(x), SHINee and other SM Entertainment’s Hallyu stars, Korea’s national swimmer Park TaeHwan, marathoner Lee BongJoo, actors and actresses such as Kim YoonJin, Shin HyunJoon and other well-known Korean stars.

To kick off the campaign, Ban KiMoon’s message to request support for Africa is echoed through the slogan ‘Together For Africa’.

During the next 3 months, there will be donations and fund raising activities in support of the children of Africa, according to Red Cross representatives. About $5 million is expected to be raised from this campaign.

Through the funds raised, emergency relief activities could be carried out to help African children through the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement as well as UNICEF.

Krystal’s beautiful expressions on ‘Kiss and Cry’ impressed unnie

On June 21st, Jessica made a surprise visit to SBS Ilsan Production Center to give support to her sister, Krystal who took part in the ’2nd Pair Competition’ of SBS ‘Kim Yuna’s Kiss and Cry’.

Along with her natural beautiful expression, Krystal showcased her amazing skills by attempting high difficulty repertoires. Krystal, who used her long legs and highlighted her beautiful hands while skating all this while, impressed the audience through her expressions and strong skating skills.

On the day of the competition, Jessica made a surprise visit to the set and gave Krystal full encouragement and support. Jessica who saw Krystal in action for the first time said, “She did really well and her expression was just beautiful. As she was skating, there was a feeling of ‘freedom’”.

She then praised her sister by saying, “Before the competition, I went to meet Krystal. Although she became more nervous when she saw me, she did really well nonetheless”.

Tears and laughters on ‘Come To Play’

SNSD, TVXQ, Super Junior and f(x) appeared on MBC’s ‘Come To Play’ special episode ‘We Came to Paris’ which will be aired on June 27th at 11.15pm KST

During the recording of the show recently, f(x)’s Sulli expressed her gratitude towards Taeyeon and Tiffany in a corner entitled ‘Can You Hear My Heart?’. In the past when Sulli was still a 4th year elementary school student, she stayed with Taeyeon and Tiffany in the same hostel and the two Soshi girls took care and watched over Sulli like their own younger sister.

Tiffany who was also present at the set said, “However, I felt sorry for not being able to take care of her more”. Upon hearing that, Sulli was moved to tears, showing the warm affection between a senior and her junior. On the other hand, TVXQ’s Max Changmin who debuted earlier than his juniors gave them useful advice as well as support.


Meanwhile, during the ‘SM Town X-File’ corner, Sooyoung said that there is a special secret directive within their company. Sooyoung, who is talented in impersonations among the girls was given that directive to prohibit her from doing impersonations.

Sooyoung said, “When I appear on variety shows, they would request me to do impersonations and if I don’t do it, the atmosphere will turn cold which is unbearable. So, I have no choice but  to damage my own image”.

She added, “Our agency chairman said ‘So, what’s this voice impersonation that damages your posh image?’, particularly asking me to refrain me from doing the impersonations”.

MC Kim WonHee then requested a voice impersonation before bidding the girls farewell on the show. Upon WonHee’s request, Sooyoung apologized to the company’s chairman and showcased her talent, much to the amusement of everyone in the studio.

f(x)’s Krystal follows strict fashion rules between herself and her elder sister, Jessica.

f(x) members who made an appearance on cable TV, Fashion N’s ‘Actresses’ House’ which will be aired on June 24th at 11pm KST, talked about their fashion sense.

During the recording of the show recently, Krystal mentioned, “If I secretly put on Jessica unnie’s clothes, I’ll be in a big trouble. If I wish to wear them, I will have to get a permission first”. She added, “Since my sister is also a celebrity, I shall respect each other’s ‘domain’ and will never wear the same clothes as her”, revealing the rules between the two fashionista sisters.

Who’s coming over to play?

After making a history by performing at Europe’s first ‘SM Town Live World Tour’ concert in Paris, The girls made a brief stop back in Korea on June 15th and boarded a plane to Japan through Gimpo Airport this evening (June 16th). The girls are set to resume their ’1st Japan Arena Tour’ at the National Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo on June 17th and 18th.

After that, the girls will have a week’s break before attending the 2011 MTV VMAJ on June 25th where they are in contention for awards in 3 categories. However, before heading to the prestigious event, 4 Soshi members will be recording MBC’s variety program ‘Yoo JaeSuk and Kim WonHee’s Come To Play’, which means, they will be flying back to Seoul again.

On June 16th, a production staff of ‘Come To Play’ said, “On June 22nd, there will be a recording session with SM Entertainment artistes at Ilsan MBC Dream Center for the Korean Wave Special Edition of MBC ‘Yoo JaeSuk and Kim WonHee’s Come To Play’”.

According to the staff, a total of 12 artistes from SM Entertainment are expected to appear on this special episode. They are TVXQ, 4 members from Super Junior, 4 members from SNSD and 2 members from f(x). Besides the grand appearances on the show, this is also the first time SM Entertainment artistes appear on such talk show together.

‘Come To Play’ Korean Wave Special featuring SM Entertainment artistes is expected to receive great response from viewers all around the world.
