SNSD chosen as G20 Star Supporters for “Talking to The G20 Leaders” campaign

SNSD have been appointed as the Seoul G20 Star Supporters and will be involved in the “Talking to The G20 Leaders” campaign.

On October 24th, the committee in charge of the preparation for the G20 Summit have selected SNSD as the G20 Star Supporters to help promote the “Talking to The G20 Leaders” campaign.

SNSD will be attending the official launching of “Talking to The G20 Leaders” campaign at COEX Millenium Square in Seoul on October 25th at 1.00pm. It is an effort to urge and encourage those who are interested in the G20 Summit in Seoul, especially the younger generation, to take part in the promotional activities of the campaign.

The girls said, “When we were having our activities overseas, we were very happy to know that the fans love Korea Republic because of us. Through the G20 Summit Meeting in Seoul We hope that the people around the world will take this opportunity to get to know more about Korea Republic”.


Seohyun proud to be part of “Group of 20″

Recently, voluntary participation from various groups and singers in the G20 Summit Meeting campaign song “Let’s Go” has become one of the hottest discussion agenda in the Kpop world.

A group of singers from various girl groups, boy bands and solo singers were assembled to record the campaign song for the upcoming G20 Summit Meeting which will be held in Seoul, this November.

The music and lyrics of the lively and fast-tempo “Let’s Go” was written by Shinsadong Tiger (real name: Lee Hoyoung), Im Sanghyuk, Eddie, Yong Junhyung with participation involving artists from groups such as SNSD, SHINee, 2PM, 2AM, Kara, Beast, After School, Super Junior and solo singer Son Dambi. There are 20 singers all together and there is only 1 representative from each of the idol groups mentioned. Maknae Seohyun is the representative for the Soshi. The album title is called “Group of 20” which highlights the G20 Summit meeting and also the number of artists involved in the project.

Seohyun said, “I feel honored to be involved in this project. I hope that through the song “Let’s Go”, there will be greater interest and support from the people in this country to make the G20 Summit Meeting in Seoul a successful event”.

Let’s Go” from “Group of 20” will be unveiled via the Internet on October 15th.


Seohyun represents Soshi for G20 Summit Campaign Song

20 artists from popular idol groups SNSD, Super Junior, etc participated in the recording of G20 Summit Meeting campaign song.

The G20 Summit Meeting will take place on November 11th to 12th at Seoul COEX. Singers involved in the campaign song entitled, “Let’s Go” are Park Gyuri (Kara), Seohyun (SNSD), Junsu (2PM), Changmin (2AM), Jaekyung (Rainbow), Jonghyun (SHINee), Sungmin (Super Junior), Gahee (After School), Luna (f(x)), Son Jieun (Secret), Yong Junhyung (BEAST), Ho Gayoon (4minute), Min (Miss A) GO (MBLAQ), Bom Ki (Twins), G.Na, Son Dambi, Seo Inguk, IU and Anna.

“Let’s Go”, composed by famous composer Shinsadong Tiger contains meaningful and good messages which were conveyed through the voices of Kpop idols who are famous, domestically in Korea and also the Asian region.

The individual recording of the song took place on September 24th and 25th, followed by choral recording at a recording studio in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
