‘The 52nd Japan Record Awards‘ is in progress at the time this article was published. Among the 4 newcomers, SNSD were the last to perform. Dressed in white, the girls pulled off an awesome performance of  ‘Gee‘.

After SNSD’s performance, the 10 nominees for the Record Award (the grand award) were introduced and each of them will be performing their hits before the ‘Best Rookie Award‘ is announced. So meanwhile, enjoy these recorded clips.

SNSD and Big Bang will be attending Japan’s most prestigious year-end music award ceremony, the 52nd Japan Record Award on December 30th.

SNSD who made an entrance to the Japanese music industry in September this year, will be eyeing for the Best New Artist Award at the prestigious award ceremony. The winner of the Best New Artist Award will be chosen from the 4 winners of New Artist Award namely SNSD, ICONIQ, Kikuchi Madoka and S/Mileage.

Star News was told, “SNSD will be attending this year’s Japan Record Award. On the same day, KBS Music Festival will be held. Most likely, they will be flying back to Korea for KBS Music Festival right after the Japan Record Award”.

Like previous editions, The Japan Record Award, organized by Japan Composer’s Association will be aired LIVE by TBS, a Japanese broadcasting station.
