SNSD flies to Jeju Island!

After touching down in Korea yesterday, the girls are flying to Jeju Island from Gimpo Airport this morning, July 20th to attend the ‘Jeju’s Wish for 7 Wonders KBS Special 5 Live’ which will be aired this evening (July 20th).


SNSD, along with other artistes such as fellow label mate f(x), Spring Summer Fall Winter, Pop Opera singer Lee El, violinist Kim YoonHee,etc will be performing at the ‘Jeju’s Wish for 7 Wonders KBS Special 5 Live’. The broadcast will start at 5pm KST with estimated broadcast time of 100 minutes.

All white in Jeju Island

On April 24th, SNSD performed ‘Hoot’ on ‘SBS Inkigayo – Wonderful Jeju Super Concert’ at the Halla Gymnasium, Jeju Island.

Clad in all white, the girls were one of the main attractions at the concert. As usual, they pulled off an impressive performance in front of the audience. The atmosphere was further heated up when the girls performed their popular “arrow dance”.

It’s Wonderful Jeju!

SNSD, TVXQ, Big Bang, CN Blue, After School and 4minute are among the popular artistes who will be taking part at the super concert in conjunction with Jeju Island’s bid to be selected as one of the ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature’.

On April 20th, Visit Korea Committee Chairman, Shin DongBin said that the commemorative super concert will be held at 3.40pm KST, April 24th at Halla Gymnasium in Jeju Island. This concert which will be televised live through SBS features 20 groups, including those mentioned above.

With the participation of top Hallyu stars, this event attracts not only domestic (Korean) tourists but also tourists from Japan, China, South East Asia as well as foreign media personnels to Korea.

Chief of the Marketing Division of Visit Korea, Han KyungAh said, “Taking advantage of Kpop’s popularity around the world, this event aims at promoting Jeju and Korea to the world”.
