SM Town Live 10: Next stop, Shanghai!

September 11, 2010

After the concert in LA on September 4th, 45 SM artists took a flight from Incheon to Shanghai for the SM Town Live 10 World Tour concert at 7pm (Shanghai time) on September 11th, which is today.

There were shots of the girls’ arrival at Shanghai which you can view from the photo flow gallery below (Click on thumbnail to see larger pics). The SM Town Live 10 concert in Shanghai is not as largely publicized as the ones in Seoul and Los Angeles. However, despite the little publicity and promotion, the tickets were sold out in less than 3 days and fans have described the response in four words – “一票难求” which literally means “it’s hard even to get ONE ticket”.

According to SM Entertainment, the concert in China is just the beginning of their plan to penetrate the Chinese market. After the concert there are many activities in China involving the SM Town artists. SHINee and f(x) will be doing endorsements for China’s sport brands and they are also planning to cooperate with Chinese entertainment companies for involvements in films, TV series, etc.

The SM Town Live 10 concert in Shanghai will take place at Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium. Here’s the fancam of the girls’ arrival in Shanghai.

Here are some photos taken during the Shanghai concert. The girls shed tears of joy at the end of the concert. Jessica had her birthday cake on stage and Sunny made sure she had the cake all over her face…lol. Apparently, 2 years back, Sica covered Sunny in cream as well during her birthday on May 15th, 2008…lol…so, I guess, they’re even now. These girls are so dorky!

See you girls in Bangkok in July!!!

Some info on SNSD's 1st Asia Concert in Shanghai

January 30, 2010

Here are some info of the concert in Shanghai:

SNSDs Shanghai Concert seating arrangement

SNSD's Shanghai Concert seating arrangement

Venue: Shanghai Grand Stage, located in Shanghai Sports Stadium
Date: 17th April 2010
Ticket Prices: Purple (480 RMB), Blue (680 RMB), Orange (880 RMB) and Green (1280 RMB)

Wow…look at the ticket prices! It’s ranging from US$69 to US$183 but I don’t mind spending that money if I were in Shanghai though because I know seeing SNSD’s live performance is a priceless experience. Obviously, those who are seating in the green seats have the chance to look at the girls up close. Who knows, they may even have the chance to shake hands with Soshis…lol.
