Yoona wants to have a son in the future?

February 18, 2012

On the upcoming episode of JTBC’s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys, the boys’ mothers appeared as special guests and Yoona made a surprising statement, saying that she wants to have a son.

Upon the surprise appearance of their mothers, the boys could not hide their joy. The boys, mothers and Girls’ Generation played a game of yut. Throughout the missions such as ‘Randomly dance with mother’ and ‘Kiss your mother on the cheek’, the boys and their mothers showed much affection for each other. When Yoona saw Kim SungHwan and his mother locking arms together, she said, “They look good. I want to have a son in the future as well.”

Sooyoung, on the other hand, was watching the boys dance and shed tears because she could see how hard the boys have practiced one week before the competition.

Not only Sooyoung but also Kim HoiHoon’s mother, who have seen her son dance for the first time, shed tears upon the boys’ dance. Also, Girls’ Generation praised the weekly improvement of the boys’ dance, causing anticipation for the boys’ performance in the competition.

Girls’ Generation touched by dangerous boys’ performance in ‘Street Jam’

February 9, 2012

On February 5th, Girls’ Generation watched the ‘Street Jam Dance Competition’ in Seoul AxHall because the boys that they mentored in ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’ were participating in the competition. As a result, Seohyun and Sooyoung shed tears because of the boys’ performance.

On this day, except Jessica and YoonA who were busy with personal schedules, the other seven Girls’ Generation members attended the event and watched the boys perform.

YoonHyunJun PD of ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’ stated, “Girls’ Generation showed explosive reactions to the boys’ performance. They were satisfied with the boys’ hardwork.”

He added, “Seohyun and Sooyoung showed tears. Seohyun cried a lot while Sooyoung tried her best not to cry.”

The girls have been in the venue three to four hours before the competition took place to cheer for the boys. YoonHyunJun PD said, “Girls’ Generation cheered for the boys since before the competition until the end. They even attended the afterparty.”

Since the first recording of the show, the girls received a mission to help the boys participate in the ‘Street Jam Dance Competition’. Even though the boys knew no basics in dancing, the boys practiced six hours per day and showed daily improvements.

Even though one of the boys Hwang Yonghyun could not stand the training and gave up half way through, the remaining four worked hard until the end.

The problematic students came together to practice and showed their result in their last performance. The PD stated, “The boys were really nervous. Because there were many good teams, they must have felt various emotions. They were confident at first, but soon became disheartened. Then, they determined to do their best.”

Yoona confesses, “Sunny threatened to push me down the stairs!”

February 4, 2012

Girls’ Generation member Yoona spoke out about an incident where Sunny threatened to hurt her after a playful tease went overboard.

During the recent recording of JTBC’s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’, the Girls’ Generation members and the boys took to court the incident where an argument broke out in the boys’ dorm involving Kim Hwehoon and Park Kyungkyu. Yoona, who was also present at this hearing, unexpectedly revealed incidents that had happened within their group in order to support the boys’ case.

Yoona confessed to have gotten into trouble with some of her group members due to her playfulness and pranks going overboard by adding, “I have also been punished due to my prank on the members.”.

She spoke out about this one incident where they were all in the waiting room at a music program and because they were all tired most of the members had fallen asleep. But Yoona, being the playful type that she is, picked the wrong time to start throwing her aegyo to her unnies, and after a while when she didn’t stop, Yoona finally hit Sunny’s last nerve. Sunny had then exploded at Yoona threatening her that she will ‘seriously push her down the stairs’.

Surprised at Yoona’s sudden confession, Sunny rebutted that she wasn’t the only one, and spoke out that Yuri had also gotten angry at Yoona and was saying bad things that time as well. Hearing this, Yuri pretended she didn’t know anything which made Sunny lost for words in a difficult position.

Yoona also revealed that, although Seohyun doesn’t play any pranks on the other members, she does tend to say things straight to your face. For example, when the members go eat fast food, Seohyun would tell them, “If you eat a lot of fast food, you’re going to die”.

The court trial about the playful argument between Kim Hwehoon and Park Kyungkyu, and Yoona’s confession about Girls’ Generation members will all be revealed on February 5th at 7.30pm on JTBC’s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’.

Jessica reunited with her pre-debut vocal trainer, Kim JoHan

January 28, 2012

Jessica met up with her pre-debut vocal trainer, Kim JoHan once again.

During the recording of JTBC’s ‘Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Boys’ which will be aired on January 29th, Girls’ Generation carried out the outdoor classes prepared for their mentees.

For the sake of her student, Goo JiSoo who aspires to be a singer, Jessica had arranged a meeting with Kim JoHan to conduct a vocal test for JiSoo. As soon as Jessica met Kim JoHan, she gave her teacher a warm hug, showing their close friendship and expressing her pleasure to see him once again. Jessica then introduced Kim JoHan, who was also Taeyeon’s vocal trainer, to JiSoo.

In front of Kim JoHan, JiSoo performed Lee Juk’s ‘I’m So Fortunate’ and received some comments and tips from the talented singer. Judging by JiSoo’s singing ability, Kim JoHan believes that JiSoo has the potential to be a singer.

To determine JiSoo’s vocal range, a vocalization test was conducted. As the test progressed, JiSoo who could not hit the high note stopped abruptly. Jessica then encouraged JiSoo by saying, “Do not stop at this part. At first, I could not do it too but as I practiced continously, I managed to hit the high notes,” sharing her experiences like a senior to a junior artist.

In addition to that, Jessica also showed her firm singing ability and her unique charm by performing the OST of ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘Part of Your World’ in the presence of JiSoo and Kim JoHan.

Besides Jessica, Sunny had also arranged a meeting with Dynamic Duo for her mentee, Kim SungHwan who wants to be a hip-hop musician. Seohyun, on the other hand, took Kim HoiHoon who has no ambition to a special place for various meaningful outdoor class activities.

Girls’ Generation mentors Dangerous Boys with concern and sincerity

January 19, 2012

Seohyun: “You shouldn’t live like that!”

Tiffany: “A promise isn’t something that you should try to keep; it’s something that you must keep.”

Through the new show ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’, which is being aired through the new broadcasting channel JTBC, viewers are able to see Girls’ Generation fulfilling their responsibilities as mentors at very high standards. At times, the girls can be harsh and upfront mentors and at other times, they can be the soft and encouraging elder sisters. But either way, the girls’ heartfelt concern towards the five troublesome boys can be felt.

Up until now, Girls’ Generation has shown a lot of their various talents and bright personalities through singing, acting, musicals and more, without a peaceful day to rest. However, through this program, more of the girls’ personalities and characteristics were shown to the point, where even the fans were surprised that the girls’ had a side of them like this, which gathered even more attention from the viewers.

Instead of mentoring the boys as Girls’ Generation, each member carried out their roles as mentors by approaching the boys as themselves and not as top celebrities by just being as they were with their real personalities. And by doing so, some of the girls even created characters for themselves, such as, ‘Hot-headed Seohyun’, ‘Mommy Taeyeon’ and ‘Strict Tiffany’.

Even when the cameras are not running and they are not filming, the girls continue to keep in touch with their assigned mentee, and even with their busy schedules, they always find the time to talk with the boys and send them words of encouragement and advice. In particular, the text messages that were sent between Taeyeon and her mentee was broadcasted on one of the episodes which gathered a lot of attention, as well as envy from the fans.

Although the girls are an icon that most of youth looks up to, heartfelt concern and sincerity has to be included during this mentoring process or it would have never made an impact on the boys. So putting the entertainment and program aside, it is because of their true concern and strong sense of duty to help improve the lifestyle of these boys, that the boys themselves find hope and the will to change for their own good.

‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’ airs every Sunday at 7.30pm.

January 13, 2012

Girls’ Generation transformed into Wonder Girls in noraebang (Karaoke-box)!

Besides Wonder Girls’ songs, Girls’ Generation were also having fun singing medleys of their favorite songs from other girl groups as well as their very own hit song ‘The Boys’. Singing and dancing without even taking a break, the girls took this opportunity to unwind themselves from stress and they seemed to be enjoying themselves more than the five boys.

Meanwhile, as the boys enjoyed themselves going on the outing with Girls’ Generation, something unexpected occurred during the second course of the outing.

Make sure to catch JTBC’s ‘Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Boys’ at 7.30pm KST on January 15th to find out the reason why some of the boys could not complete the full course of special outing with Girls’ Generation.
