Yoon DoHyun drew laughters from the viewers as he stepped onto the set of SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment” dressed as a Girls’ Generation member on September 12th.

On September 5th, Yoon DoHyun pledged that he would dress up as Girls’ Generation for the opening of this week’s show  if ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ managed to top the real time search ranking on portal sites as reported last week.

Yoon Do Hyun and Sooyoung both kept their promise. Upon seeing Yoon DoHyun’s transformation, she said, “You look prettier than me”, which caused Yoon Do Hyun to reply, “I feel really embarrassed coming out like this even though I’ve  fulfilled my promise to the viewers. I can’t breath with these clothes on. I have no idea how you manage to dance with such tight clothes. I’ve learned not to make promises without careful consideration”, much to the amusement of the viewers.

On SBS ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’, MC Yoon DoHyun had made a commitment of which he regretted during the later part of the weekly show.

On September 5th, SBS ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ discussed about the promises made by stars. MC Yoon DoHyun said, “Recently, making public promises seems to be the trend”. The rock singer then suggested that he too wanted to do it.

Yoon DoHyun continued, “If ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ tops the list of search items on portal sites, I promise to do a cosplay of Girls’ Generation and carry out the opening of next week’s live broadcast just like Girls’ Generation”.

Upon hearing Yoon DoHyun’s pledge, Sooyoung said, “In that case, I will do an opening like YB too if the show manages to secure no.1 spot on the list of search items. I shall transform into a great rocker”.

Before the end of the broadcast, ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ managed to top the list of search items. Yoon DoHyun regretted the pledge he made earlier and said, “If only this is not a live broadcast, I would like that portion to be edited out”, much to the amusement of the viewers.

Girls’ Generation Sooyoung showed off her moist, fair skin during the filming of her recent cosmetic CF, where she has been chosen to be an exclusive model for KGC Life Engine’s cosmetic brand ‘LLang’.

During the CF and photoshoot for ‘LLang’ on August 27th and 28th, Sooyoung received great attention from staff about her moist, beautiful skin.

Sooyoung who played the role of Violist, Kim EuiJin has completed her final filming of ‘The 3rd Hospital’ On August 5th. The 5-month long shoot which kicked off in March this year finally came to an end and Actress Choi Sooyoung could not hide her tears on the set after the final filming.

As soon as ‘Cut’ was heard from the director which marked the end of the filming for the drama,  Oh JiHo who played the role of SeungHyun in the medical drama, brought a cake out and congratulated Sooyoung for the final filming of ‘The 3rd Hospital’. Upon hearing the warm applause and cheers from the staff, Sooyoung blew out the candles and burst into tears. The staff too could not hold back their tears as Sooyoung expressed her sincere feelings about the filming.

On this particular day, Sooyoung expressed her gratitude to more than a hundred staff by presenting them with handwritten letters and Girls’ Generation’s CDs. To the staff who have worked really hard during the outdoor filming, Sooyoung showed her appreciation by giving them skin whitening cosmetic sets as gifts.

Because of her sensitiveness and caring heart, Sooyoung moved the hearts of the staff and they threw a party for her and had a good time together despite having to stay up late to keep up with the shooting schedule.

Sooyoung, along with actors Kim SeungWoo, Kim MinJung and Oh JiHo attended the press conference of the upcoming tvN’s drama ‘The 3rd Hospital’ on July 31st at Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do.

Sooyoung, who was cast for the first time in a drama since her debut with Girls’ Generation, expressed her thoughts about being a main character in the drama and said, “This is the first time I stood in front of the camera since the movie ‘Love Story’. I was panicking during the first shooting session.”

About her role as a viola player, EuiJin in the drama, Sooyoung commented, “It was hard playing the viola at first. Although I’m still not good at it, I’m planning to make it my specialty one day.”

She added, “As someone with not much aegyo, I actually find it hard to bring my character, EuiJin who has a lot of aegyo, to life.”

Besides that, Sooyoung also expressed her gratitude towards Girls’ Generation members who visited her at the shooting set.

She said, “The members gave me a lot of support. They visited the set and brought vitamin drinks to share with the staff. Because of their support, I’m getting a really huge energy boost.”

Fellow actress Kim MinJung added, “Yesterday, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri came to the set. As yesterday was my birthday, Yuri and Sooyoung threw a surprise birthday party for me when the filming ended.”

Oh JiHo then jokingly said, “It’s really good to see Girls’ Generation members coming to the set one after another. When would I enjoy such luxury?” Kim SeungWoo, who plays the role of a neurosurgeon Kim DooHyun, said, “There’s ‘Vitamin Sooyoung’ on set. Because of that, the set is overflowing with energy.”

According to MBC on July 19th, Sooyoung who visited Hyoyeon in her practice room, voted for Hyoyeon using her family members’ mobile phones every week. However, she was sad to find out that all this while, the votes that she sent through text messages for Hyoyeon in ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′ were in fact, not valid.

The reason for the ‘spoiled votes’ was due to the fact the text messages sent contained various emoticons. Only Hyoyeon’s name and her contestant number will be accepted by the voting system. Girls’ Generation members’ messages such as ‘Hyoyeon ♥♥’, ‘Hyoyeon is no.1′, ‘Dear judges, please give high scores to Hyoyeon’ were all invalid.

Hyoyeon who is thankful for the support from her fellow members said, “Nowadays, the sentence ‘I’ve cast my vote’ is the most touching to me”. She added, “Next time, it will be great if you could just write ‘Hyoyeon’ and send in the votes”, preventing further invalid votes being cast in the future.

On the episode of SBS ‘One Night TV Entertainment’ aired on July 4th, one of the hosts Sooyoung, who is known for her long legs, got her leg length measured.

In this episode, while they were discussing about stars’ unique photos, Yoon DoHyun suddenly came up with the idea to measure Sooyoung’s legs in the studio.

Upon this, Sooyoung seemed very surprised but went up to the stage to get her legs measured anyway. Looking at Sooyoung’s legs, Yoon DoHyun exclaimed, “They are very long.” Other reporters looked at Sooyoung’s long and smooth legs with eyes of envy.

Actor Kim MinJong talked about himself dancing in front of SooYoung.

At the press conference for ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ held on June 22nd at SBS Production Center, Kim MinJong revealed, “It was hard trying to impress SooYoung in that scene. I did not know how I was supposed to dance on metal board.”

He added, “The director is known for filming the same scene a lot of times. I had to dance for more than 10 times, which was very embarrassing but I filmed the part with the determination that I will overcome this hardship.”

Recently, SooYoung made a surprise appearance on the episode of ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ that was aired on June 9th. Kim MinJong danced to Girls Generation’s song in the episode and made a lot of people laugh.

The actor portrays the role of a lawyer in ‘A Gentlemen’s Dignity’ and not only is he showing good partnership with Jang DongGun, Kim SooRo and Lee JongHyuk, but he is also attracting attention through the love line with YoonJin.

He stated, “It is my first piece of work that I have found my name. Because I did not have much activities, people got confused with my name and they used to call me ‘Kim JongMin’. I had times like that, but I have regained my name through this drama.”

He continued, “The filming set’s atmosphere was so good that I did not notice the time passing by. I personally want to live with it. It would be good if this drama became a series.”
