Ahead of the release of Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo first solo album ‘MIRYO aka JOHONEY’ on February 1st, teaser video and images were revealed.

On January 27th, a teaser video was unveiled and Sunny’s surprise appearance in the spy movie-like teaser have garnered a lot of attention from fans and netizens.

Sunny, the main character in the teaser video, put on a cool and meaningful expression while looking at the camera as she entered a building. Only phrases such as ‘Time to get crazy’ and ‘Miryo is coming’ were introduced in the video, arousing more anticipation as the day of the album release draws closer. With Sunny’s appearance in the teaser, netizens are wondering if there is a connection between Sunny and Miryo as well as the album.

At 1.00am KST on May 21st, SM Entertainment released the teaser video of SNSD’s 1st Japanese Album via its official YouTube channel. The teaser video, made by ‘Enlightenment’ is a mix of all the tracks in the 1st album. Without further ado, here you go!

It’s confirmed! SNSD are the Asian CF models for IT giant, Intel.

SNSD and Intel will be doing various promotional campaigns and activities starting today, January 10th to target customers in Korea and other Asian countries.

SNSD’s stylish and charming image blends well with Intel’s ‘Visibly Smart’ motto for its ’2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors’.

During the promotions, consumers in Korea and other parts of Asia will be able to see the girls through their music video which will be available in both 2D and 3D, various web contents, photos and others.

The MV which is the fruit of the collaboration between Intel and SNSD shall be officially released on January 17th.

The girls stated, “It will be a great music video as fans will be able to sing along easily and at the same time witness SNSD’s style of living. This musical project with Intel was really fun and interesting. When we heard about Intel, the famous ‘Bong’ sound came to our minds automatically”. On January 18th, SNSD will also be taking part in the launch of Intel’s new product.

During the launch, besides introducing Intel’s ’2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processor’ to about 1000 customers, there will also be various events where SNSD’s new song will be revealed.

On the other hand, Intel have advised fans to consult SM Entertainment regarding SNSD’s promotional schedules in other Asian countries.

UPDATE 1: Title of the new song revealed

SNSD’s new song ‘Visual Dreams‘ will be released via various music sites such as Melon, Bugs!, Dosirak, etc on January 17th. On January 18th, the MV will be revealed on sment YouTube channel, SNSD’s official site and Intel sites. Teaser of the ‘Visual Dreams’ MV is expected to be unveiled at noon (KST) on January 14th.

There seems to be a slight change to the original plan. The MV which was scheduled to be released on January 17th will be unveiled on January 18th instead. Does that mean that it will be revealed during Intel’s product launching then?

UPDATE 2: ‘Visual Dreams’ MV teaser revealed

The teaser MV was revealed at around 12.00pm KST. The first thing that came into my mind was “OMG! I need to see more” and I keep replaying the 30-second teaser for at least half an hour. The song is catchy and some of the SOSHIROBOTIC dance moves are really cute. Also, I noticed there are some ‘Run Devil Run’ dance steps in it (focus on Jessica). Besides the song and the dance, the patterns in the background gives you a retro feel, including the fonts at the end of the teaser. This is exciting and I bet everyone could not wait any longer to see the whole thing. I don’t know about you but I can’t since I’m now teased by such an awesome teaser.

UPDATE 3: Intel Collaboration Song ‘Visual Dreams’ released

SNSD’s ‘Visual Dreams’ was released at about 12.45pm KST on January 17th via various music sites such as MelOn, Bugs!, etc. Two phrases that came to my mind after listening to the song – ‘All-kill’ and ‘Daebak’. The teaser MV for “Hoot” was viewed more than a million times ever since its release at midnight on October 24th. A million views is not something uncommon in You Tube but achieving such number of views in just two days is definitely a phenominal record.

The teaser was released through SM Entertainment’s official YouTube Channel, http://www.youtube.com/sment. The huge number of views is a very clear indication that the girls are becoming a worldwide sensation and the 3rd mini album is expected to make a big wave both domestically and internationally.

It came as a surprise to everyone. I was shocked to see it when I clicked on SNSD’s official website. The layout has changed!

Shoot the spinning wheel with the arrow and you’ll see different things popping out. It looks like for the 3rd Mini Album, the girls are turning into spies or secret agents. Hmm…interesting. There’s an audio teaser too if you happened to hit the love section with the light-colored background. If you’re not really into games, here’s the audio teaser for you:

No details have been revealed regarding the 3rd Mini Album but we’ll definitely place this under our radar. As we know, Sunny, Tiffany and Hyoyeon dyed their hair blonde. So, most probably, it has something to do with the new mini album’s concept. Once we have any details, we will keep you updated. So, stay tune! What a start for the girls! Even from a 33-second teaser, netizens could make a big deal out of it. Well, the girls are being accused of committing kenkaryu which in simple terms means hating hallyu wave because of the word “kuse” in the teaser that could be mistaken for “kuso” which means, well, in a proper way, feces or 똥 in Korean.

The message that the girls are trying to get across is “kuse ni naru wa” which means “it’s becoming a habit” and the netizens are “worried” that if it’s pronounced wrongly, it would sound rather crude. Online community and fans are having fun commenting about it and some even mentioned about SNSD trying to attract attention if it’s not a mistake.

Well, from the way I see it, the mistakes could either come from the ears of the listeners or the error in the pronunciation which is understandable since they are not Japanese. About grabbing attention, is it really necessary? Who are they? hello! They are SNSD. They don’t need that. Give me a break, come on!

Anyway, SM Town Live 10 kicks off today in Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium. The 6-hour concert showcases about 80 songs from SM Entertainment artists consisting of BoA, TVXQ’s Yunho and Max, SNSD, Spuer Junior, SHINee, f(x), Trax, etc. The concert will also make its way to several other venues such as LA, Shanghai and Tokyo. If you are in these locations, remember that I’ll be so jealous of you.

I love the whole idea about how the boy found the lamp in the attic and stuff like that. Pretty creative and the ‘Matrix’ effect is perfectly utilized, I thought. Let’s hope when the MV comes out, it gives us more surprises, in a good way of course. It’s a 33-second teaser but I have a good feeling about this.
