‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅲ’ kicks off in LA on May 20th!
April 3, 2012Last year, large scale Kpop concerts in Australia, Japan, Thailand and other countries were successfully held and this year, MBC, one of the leading forces behind the world’s Hallyu craze is set to bring Kpop to the home of mainstream music from all over the world, the United States of America.
Come May 20th, the ‘MBC Korean Music Wave in LA’, jointly organized by MBC and SM Town, will be held at Honda Centre in Anaheim, California.
The concert which will be headlined by leaders of Kpop craze from SM Entertainment such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee, f(x), etc is seen as a very different and huge project compared to the Hallyu concerts organized before it. There is already a growing anticipation among Hallyu fans towards the May 20th concert.
The large-scale Hallyu concert will be aired as ‘MBC Korean Music Wave in LA – SM Town Special!’ and besides the performances, backstage scenes will also be revealed through the broadcast.
In addition to the concert in LA, other dates for the ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅲ’ were also announced, including August 4th and 5th in Tokyo Dome, Japan and August 18th in Seoul Jamsil Main Stadium. ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅲ’ is also expected to be held in Beijing and other major cities in Asia and other parts of the world.

‘Kpop Festival – Music Bank in Tokyo’ shakes 45,000-strong crowd at Tokyo Dome!
July 14, 2011On July 13th, famous Kpop singers gathered in one place for a live event ‘Kpop Festival – Music Bank in Tokyo’ in front of 45,000 fans in Japan’s Tokyo Dome.
TVXQ, SNSD, Kara, 2pm, Beast, IU, 4minute, U-Kiss, Baek JiYoung, Secret, Rainbow, Infinite, Park HyunBin, RaNia and X-5 shook Japan’s prestigious concert venue, Tokyo Dome with their explosive performances.
As soon as SNSD took the stage, the whole arena was filled with pink fanlights, an emblem of SNSD’s huge popularity in Japan. Sooyoung who was amazed upon seeing the pink fanlights said, “It was a really beautiful sight with everyone filling Tokyo Dome with the fanlights”.
Meanwhile, these ‘Kpop Festival – Music Bank in Tokyo’ performances will be aired on a Japanese TV channel on August 25th and it will also be aired in 3D on August 28th.

SM Town artistes to perform in Tokyo Dome this April
January 27, 2011SM artists will get to perform in the high capacity Tokyo Dome soon.
Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), etc who participated in ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo’ will be performing at Tokyo Dome on April 9th and 10th. Performing at the 50,000-capacity Tokyo Dome, which is the largest concert hall in Japan, gives a great sense of satisfaction and pride not only to the artistes but also those who have the chance to see their idols performing in such a prestigious venue.
The tickets for the April concert go on sale today and they are priced at 12,800 Yen.
