TVXQ! “Catch Me” World Tour, Live in Malaysia, 18 May 2013
Kuala Lumpur, 15 May 2013 – Kuala Lumpur shall soon welcome the return of ‘K-Pop royalty’, TVXQ!, the biggest alternative Korean pop band in Asia. With the performance they’ve all been waiting for just around the corner, Malaysian Cassiopeias are brimming with excitement – and rightly so! Seohyun and TVXQ are featured on the cover of fashion magazine, ‘Ceci’ in 3 countries – Korea Republic, China and Thailand.
The November edition of ‘Ceci’ is available in Korean, Chinese and the newly-launched Thai edition. Seohyun, as well as TVXQ members, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin were selected as the cover models and they completed the pictorial shoot with the theme ‘Timeless Eternity’.
Adopting the concept from the movie ‘Interview With The Vampire’, the two TVXQ members transformed into vampires with cold and deadly charms. Seohyun, on the other hand, has the image of a tender-hearted and innocent girl. The trio shot the 26-page pictorials with various poses and expressions.
In the revealed cover photo, Seohyun and TVXQ members were holding one another’s hands with mysterious expressions, highlighting their own individual charms at the same time.
This November edition of ‘Ceci’ magazine featuring Seohyun and TVXQ on its cover will be available in Korea from October 15th onwards and subsequently, in China and Thailand.
On September 27th, photos of Seohyun and TVXQ flaunting their good looks were posted on Girls’ Generation and TVXQ’s official Facebook pages. The photos were taken for a pictorial for the November issue of fashion magazine CeCi.
In one of the photos revealed, Seohyun was seen in a hot pink one-piece dress with hair accessory while Max ChangMin was wearing a neat suit with a bow tie while making a V-sign pose.

On September 24th, TVXQ’s 6th album ‘Catch Me’ was revealed and in the fourth track of the album entitled ‘Like A Soap’, a female voice that says, “안녕 잘자 (Goodbye, goodnight)” was inserted into the song. The feminine and cute voice that sparked much curiosity among listeners belongs to none other than Girls’ Generation’s black pearl, Yuri.
TVXQ’s representatives told Newsen, “Although it was just a short line, Yuri’s voice goes well with that portion of the song and thus, it was being inserted. As originally it was only melody, Max Changmin proposed to have a female voice for the narration. That’s how we had the idea. Composers and staff gathered to find the suitable voice for the part and in the end, Yuri was selected.”
Meanwhile, TVXQ will be making their comeback with title song ‘Catch Me’ on KBS Music Bank on October 5th.

As more Korean stars step into Japanese showbiz, the Japanese convenience store market is jumping on the Hallyu marketing bandwagon by getting Korean stars to endorse or to advertise their products.
On July 6th, it was announced by 7-Eleven Japan that TVXQ and SNSD’s official products for the convenience store chain will go on sale in all of its 13,334 stores in the nation.
At the same time, TVXQ and SNSD’s videos and posters will also be given out during an upcoming campaign.
The 7-Eleven stores will be selling TVXQ official products such as Korean Kimchi Ramyeon, Deok-Balbi and ten other items while six official SNSD items will also be on sale at the same time.
Products promoted by SNSD, such as the Korean Rice-roll lunchbox can be easily recognised as typical Korean goods, while products like the Honey, Ginger and Chewy Cake with unclear origins are also included.
In response to this, a 7-Eleven Holdings representative said, “Although many Japanese retailers are using Korean stars as advertising models, it is the first time in Japan that official products are brought into the market.”
He also added, “The plan to sell Korean wave products is also made based on the fact that Korean products are popular in the Tokyo Koreatown (Shin-Okubo).”
